Did you know❓
Stretching helps to lengthen any tight muscles and this helps to reduce injuries. Stretching before a run increases your range of motion and helps to improve your overall performance.
What stretches should I do before a run❓
Dynamic stretches before a run are so important, it activates the nervous system and muscles, improves joint movement and flexibility as well as your balance and control.
Our members have a video available within our club app showing some brilliant dynamic stretch examples from Andy and Brian at Destination Run Coaching! If you want access to these, get in touch about becoming a member.
Try to include some or all of these before a run to help activate your muscles.
