Continuing the theme of running safely in the dark, a few more tips for you all:
Plan ahead
Let someone know where you are going and when you will be back. You can use a safety app like Run Angel to let loved ones your location.
Use your phone
Take you phone with you for all the obvious reasons.
Using gps apps
For instance Stava, Nike Plus or Runkeeper to plan routes and follow other runners.
One more tip… Running at night generally doesn’t impact performance but effects can vary from person to person.
